About the project

The area of the aquapark in Olomouc is situated in the district called “Pod Vlachovým” right next-door to the Haná shopping and entertainment park, near to the exit route to Brno.

This unusual area of water attractions and relaxation was created in an association between the municipality of Olomouc and a private investor, who is required to provide for the construction and operation of the aquapark with standards of quality and availability of attractions and services in advance, as determined by contract.

The Aquapark Olomouc represents a unique project offering its visitors interesting adrenaline and relaxation water attractions, relaxation zones, massages and solariums in an attractive environment within a single complex premises formed by the indoor pool hall and outdoor area with grass recreational areas.

The latest constructional and technological solutions, taking into account progress in the swimming pools and water attractions markets and technology, were used in realisation of the project. There was also an insistence on incorporating the latest findings from up-to-the-minute experience in the domain of safety and quality in operating similar facilities, with regard to the maximum satisfaction for visitors from the services on offer.

The construction of this unique, modern centre of leisure water activities took place over an area of 355,220 square ft and was launched on December 3 2007. Construction was completed on May 28 2009.
